Iran animation ‘Release from Heaven’ goes on screen in Canada

Iranian animation ‘Release from Heaven’ has been scheduled to go on the silver screen at the 7th edition of Fort McMurray International Film Festival in Canada.

Directed by Ali Nouri Oskui, the Iranian animation has been set to be screened today November 12, 2017 in Canada.

‘Release from Heaven’ narrates the story of a female writer and teacher, Sareh, who has to accompany two of her students on a life changing journey to find their fathers.

Founded in 2011, McMurray International Film Festival seeks to introduce a wide range of international cinema to Northern Canada by featuring exceptional films from around the world as well as locally produced films.
